Courtney Glenn
2018-2021, Entergy
Diesel Generators
Courtney spent her childhood in Westchester County near Yonkers. She graduated with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from Manhattan College in 2018. After a chance encounter with Entergy employees at a restaurant, Courtney applied for a job at Indian Point in 2018. She was assigned to help manage a fleet of nearly 20 backup diesel generators for unit 2 and unit 3. As employees have retired, with the closure of unit 2, Courtney became the lead manager in charge of diesels. When Indian Point closes in 2021, Courtney plans on moving to the Baton Rouge area to work for River Bend Nuclear Generation Station in St. Francisville, Louisiana. In addition to her work, she serves as president of the Indian Point chapter of the North American Young Generation in Nuclear.
