Bill Durr

Bill started at ConEdison in 1973 on Unit 1 and later worked with Unit 2. Over his tenure, he has worked as a field operator, reactor operator, senior reactor operator, and shift manager. In the early 2000s, with the purchase of Unit 1, 2, and 3 by Entergy, Bill worked as the plant outage manager until his retirement in 2020. Bill grew up in the Peekskill-Buchanan area. His father helped build the plant in the 1960s and his grandfather helped make the motion to allow the zoning for the plant during the 1950s.
